This page describes how the current version of Tokenai works. The app is being prepared for release.

Updated September 13, 2026.

Information about the development version. The full identity of the responsible operator and a private contact channel will be added before the commercial release.

Data on your iPhone

Tokenai stores your preferences, focus sessions, progress, active days and tasks on your device. Tasks include the text you enter, dates, category, planned duration and completion status. This information lets you resume sessions, organize your routine and see your progress.

The app does not require a Tokenai account. The current version has no proprietary data server, advertisements, analytics tools or cross-app tracking.

Screen Time

With your permission, Tokenai uses Apple's picker to select apps, categories and websites. The system provides protected identifiers to apply your rules. Selections, end times and records of reached limits stay on your device and are shared with Tokenai's own protection extension.

Tokenai does not read your messages or the content of selected apps. You can review your authorization in iPhone Settings. Learn more about Apple's Family Controls features.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, your iPhone shows local alerts when a focus session or break ends. You can turn them off in Settings. Tokenai does not use a server to send these alerts.

Subscriptions

In the commercial version, the App Store processes purchases and payments. Tokenai checks subscription information to provide the corresponding access without receiving your card details. Builds labeled as development versions may offer simulated purchases at no charge.

Retention, deletion and backups

Your history and preferences remain on the device for as long as their local data is kept. You can delete individual tasks in the planner. The current version does not include an in-app option to delete your entire history at once.

Deleting the app removes its local data. Offloading the app to free up space may keep that data. You manage copies in iCloud or computer backups separately, and restoring a backup may recover previous data.

See Apple's guidance on what iCloud backs up and managing backups. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

This website and support

This website does not include analytics, advertisements, data collection forms or its own cookies. It is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub records visitors' IP addresses for security, including visitors who are not signed in, as described in the Pages data collection documentation.

If you submit a public issue on GitHub, other people may see your account name and what you publish. Do not post passwords, receipts, payment details or personal information. GitHub handles this information according to its privacy statement.

Contact and updates

During development, you can send general questions through the Tokenai project's public support channel, maintained under the richasdev GitHub account. Requests that require personal information must wait until a private channel is available; do not include that information in a public issue.

This page will be updated if the app's practices change. Check the date at the top to identify the latest version.
